Rizzie, our herd matriarch. Rizzie and Lindsay have been together for nine years now, initially purchased as her personal competition horse. She has successfully evented through Training level, and has competed in dressage through 3rd level. Now, she enjoys teaching all levels of lessons - from one's very first time on a horse, to heading out to their first three phase. Even better, she is a Bashkir Curly! Bashkir Curlies are a hypoallergenic breed, named for their curly mane and tail, and the curly body coat that grows in in the winter. If you are allergic to horses, and that's what's stopping you from riding, Rizzie can fix all that.
Aspen came in as a resale horse, and wormed her way into everyone's hearts and is here to stay. She is still learning about how fun jumping is, but she is a great horse to teach softness and lightness to our more advanced students.
Gigi, our "oldie but goodie." She is a lesson in the lifelong commitment we make to a horse for each and every student, even if they don't ride her. With the help of a fair bit of maintenance, our Oldenburg is enjoying stepping down from the PSG level of dressage and teaching beginner lessons. Don't let her size fool you, she is a big teddy bear who loves the Littles more than anything.
Jambi is just a baby around here. He spends his time growing up, and occasionally used in ground work or anatomy lessons. He will be a force to be reckoned with once he starts eventing in a couple years.
Tamarac joins us from Canada. This Hungarian warmblood was bred to event, and does a fantastic job for students ready to start experiencing competition.
Acadia, our resident goofball/Canadian Warmblood, is still working on figuring out how to go under saddle. Lindsay's personal horse, she will be hitting the cross country field in 2022!
